Discovering a private world of wellness.

Sangha Retreat is a learning and wellness community in Suzhou, China. They take a unique approach to wellness, drawing on concepts and practices from China and the West. To prepare for the launch of the resort, spa, and apartments, we closely worked together with the Owner and six different teams.

I secured Living Octave as a client through my personal network, which quickly turned into the highest billing client for Paper Stone Scissors Shanghai in 2016.

Significant facilitation and guidance was required to help my client determine the direction of their new brand. Going beyond the expected account management, I held regular meetings and visited the resort construction site with my team to better understand their needs. In addition to reviewing other partners’ work to ensure alignment, our feedback on the communications strategy for Living Octave was consistently sought and actioned upon.

Our work is now used by the team to raise awareness both internationally and within China of these new wellness offerings.
